Orally disintegrating tablets (ODTs) are solid forms designed to dissolve quickly in the mouth, making them suitable for patients with swallowing difficulties. 3D printing, especially binder jetting, allows for customized ODTs by layering powders with a binding solution, creating highly porous and rapidly dissolving tablets.

Since the product appearance has a crucial role in the compliance of these goods, the activity of this project will be focused on the design and the development of novel solid and semisolid formulations and their full technical characterization.
